I got these for my 7 year old. He has big, wide feet. He's in a youth size 3. He spends most of his time barefoot, and when in shoes he only wears minimalist/barefoot style shoes. So his feet have stayed naturally wide with good toe splay. The downside of this is finding decent, affordable, indoor shoes is hard. Minimal/barefoot style footwear can get expensive and he just needed something with a sole to wear indoors at school. I didn't want anything with a heel, or built up foot bed. And it had to be wide and flexible. Also, because they're getting left at school I didn't want to spend much on them.These slippers are perfect! They're breathable, wide, flexible and don't restrict his feet at all (he literally will not tolerate a shoe that causes any restrictions, super picky kid about this). He can wear them comfortably with or without socks. Because they have a rubber sole they have a good grip on slippy floors, and can even be worn outdoors if he had to run out in them. We got the youth size 2 (which is 2-3) and they fit great. The material is super stretchy, I can even stick my adult women's 7.5 foot in them and it doesn't feel horrible (though the sole is too short for me to wear them, but my foot does still fit in cos stretchy fabric upper).Anyhoo, definitely recommend these. Great casual slipper/shoe. Very easy for a kid to put on and take off. Perfect for our needs.
